Every semester our tutors offer an exciting cultural programme with different free events.

Further cultural events
The Protestant Student Community (German: Evangelische Studierenden Gemeinde, ESG), the Catholic Student Community (German: Katholische Hochschulgemeinde, KHG), the Muslim Student Community (German: Muslimische Hochschulgemeinde Düsseldorf, MHG), das Studierendenwerk Düsseldorf and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) also offer regular cultural events. ​Sports programme

Every student can participate in the university sports programme. Most courses take place at the university campus. Most sports are free of charge. A fee of 30 Euros per semester has to be paid for the weight room. There is also an entrance fee for the swimming pool. You can find the current sports programme under the link on the right. Unless stated otherwise in the programme, you can just come along to the next date and talk to your trainer. It’s best to bring your sportwear along with you so that you can join immediately.​​

Safety at HSD​​

Safety for all students and employees is a major concern of HSD. In case of emergency, you can rely on an efficient concept of  regulations and procedures. In order to know how to act in case of need, please get familiar with the safety instructions at HSD.
