Welcome to the new Campus in Derendorf!

Opening on the new campus: for the first time, the traditional welcome breakfast took place on the new campus! 55 students out of 70 from 21 countries met at the auditorium of the faculty of Business Studies. The terrace on the fourth floor allowed a wonderful view on the snowy sight of the campus - a surprise to everyone, not only to the students!

Before classes start, exchange students are introduced to the campus in the course of the so called orientation weeks. The programme, organised by Michaela Petri, coordinator incoming mobility, and Jörg Bukowski, coordinator outgoing mobility, offers information and support on administrative issues, insight into university life - a highlight this year: a guided tour through the new buildings! -, introduction and guided tour through the library and a cultural programme, starting with a guided tour.

The incoming students are supported by our tutors: they meet the students at the airport or the central railway station, they take them to their accomodation, they answer all the questions about studies and everyday life - thanks to them the programme works!

We wish our newly enrolled students an exciting and interesting semester at the HSD!
