Pupils from German International School Cape Town at HSD

“I have found my place in life.”

That is how a pupil from the German International School Cape Town summarized her visit to Hochschule Düsseldorf. The visit is part of a larger trip to several universities in Germany to find out more about their programmes and study opportunities. We had the pleasure of welcoming five pupils from the group along with their teacher, Mr v. Schalkwyk, at HSD on 18 June.

The IO and ZSB jointly welcomed the group and presented the application requirements as well as the application process at HSD. The tour then continued to the Faculty of Design and Faculty of Architecture, where Ms Muscat-Bruhn and Mr Klein-Wiele each stunned the pupils with the impressive studios and laboratories in the Peter Behrens School of Arts. Prof. Herder from the Faculty of Media accompanied the group on a futuristic trip to Japan in the faculty’s Virtual Studio.

We look forward to welcoming the pupils back to HSD after their graduation, this time as students.
