Enrolment procedure for students at Hochschule Düsseldorf
In order to become an official student at Hochschule Düsseldorf, you need to matriculate/enrol yourself. This means, you need to officially accept the admission, otherwise your admission might be withdrawn and given to another applicant. In your admission letter your will find further information about the date of matriculation and the documents you need to bring to this appointment. You will be given a deadline until when you need to have enrolled at HSD. The deadline cannot be extended.
The enrolment documents can either be handed in in person, or you can issue a letter of attorney, allowing someone else to enrol you at HSD.
Your matriculation documents can also send be send via postal mail - but they need to arrive at the student office in time!
In case you did not hand in your German language certificate at the application, you will need to send it with your matriculation documents as translated and certified copy. The same applies for internship certificates, which are required for the enrolment in some study programmes.
After the enrolment procedure has been completed, you will receive your student-ID and semester ticket for public transport.
